  • You can send, receive and manage Bell Mail messages using the Mail program for Mac computers.
  • 1. In Mac OS 10.5, click Mail.
  • 2. Click Mail.
  • 3. Click Preferences…
  • 4. Click Accounts.
  • 5. Click the + icon.
  • 6. Enter your full name.
  • 7. Enter your Bell Mail address.
  • 8. Enter your Bell Mail password.
  • 9. Click Continue.
  • 10. Enter a description for the account.
  • 11. For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
  • 12. For the username, enter your Bell Mail address.
  • 13. Click Continue.
  • 14. Select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
  • 15. Click Continue.
  • 16. Enter a description for the account.
  • 17. For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
  • 18. Select Use Authentication.
  • 19. Enter your Bell Mail address.
  • 20. Enter your Bell Mail password.
  • 21. Click Continue.
  • 22. Select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
  • 23. Click Continue.
  • 24. Select Take account online.
  • 25. Click Create.
  • 26. Click Advanced.
  • 27. Click Port and enter the incoming mail server port.
  • 28. Click the red close button.
  • 29. Click Save.
    Bell Mail is now set up on your Mac.
