How to set up Bell Mail in Mac OS 10.5
You can send, receive and manage Bell Mail messages using the Mail program for Mac computers.
1. In Mac OS 10.5, click Mail.
2. Click Mail.
3. Click Preferences…
4. Click Accounts.
5. Click the + icon.
6. Enter your full name.
7. Enter your Bell Mail address.
8. Enter your Bell Mail password.
9. Click Continue.
10. Enter a description for the account.
11. For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
12. For the username, enter your Bell Mail address.
13. Click Continue.
14. Select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
15. Click Continue.
16. Enter a description for the account.
17. For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
18. Select Use Authentication.
19. Enter your Bell Mail address.
20. Enter your Bell Mail password.
21. Click Continue.
22. Select Use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL).
23. Click Continue.
24. Select Take account online.
25. Click Create.
26. Click Advanced.
27. Click Port and enter the incoming mail server port.
28. Click the red close button.
29. Click Save.
Bell Mail is now set up on your Mac.
