  • You can use Microsoft ® Outlook ® 2003 to send, receive and manage your Bell Mail messages.
  • 1. In Outlook 2003 click Tools.
  • 2. Click E-mail Accounts….
  • 3. Click Add a new e-mail account.
  • 4. Click Next.
  • 5. Select POP3.
  • 6. Click Next.
  • 7. Enter your name.
  • 8. Click E-mail Address and enter your email address.
  • 9. For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
  • 10. For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
  • 11. Click Password and enter the password for your email account.
  • 12. Click More Settings….
  • 13. Click Outgoing Server.
  • 14. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  • 15. Click Advanced.
  • 16. Enter the incoming mail server port, this will normally be 995.
  • 17. Under Outgoing server (SMTP), select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
  • 18. Under Server Timeouts, move the slider to 10 minutes.
  • 19. Click OK.
  • 20. Click Next.
  • 21. The email account has been added, Click Finish.
