How to set up Bell Mail in Outlook 2003

- You can use Microsoft ® Outlook ® 2003 to send, receive and manage your Bell Mail messages.
- 1. In Outlook 2003 click Tools.
- 2. Click E-mail Accounts….
- 3. Click Add a new e-mail account.
- 4. Click Next.
- 5. Select POP3.
- 6. Click Next.
- 7. Enter your name.
- 8. Click E-mail Address and enter your email address.
- 9. For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.
- 10. For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.
- 11. Click Password and enter the password for your email account.
- 12. Click More Settings….
- 13. Click Outgoing Server.
- 14. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
- 15. Click Advanced.
- 16. Enter the incoming mail server port, this will normally be 995.
- 17. Under Outgoing server (SMTP), select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).
- 18. Under Server Timeouts, move the slider to 10 minutes.
- 19. Click OK.
- 20. Click Next.
- 21. The email account has been added, Click Finish.
