How to set up Bell Mail in Outlook 2003

You can use Microsoft ® Outlook ® 2003 to send, receive and manage your Bell Mail messages.

1. In Outlook 2003 click Tools.

2. Click E-mail Accounts….

3. Click Add a new e-mail account.

4. Click Next.

5. Select POP3.

6. Click Next.

7. Enter your name.

8. Click E-mail Address and enter your email address.

9. For the incoming mail server, enter pophm.sympatico.ca.

10. For the outgoing mail server, enter smtphm.sympatico.ca.

11. Click Password and enter the password for your email account.

12. Click More Settings….

13. Click Outgoing Server.

14. Select My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.

15. Click Advanced.

16. Enter the incoming mail server port, this will normally be 995.

17. Under Outgoing server (SMTP), select This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL).

18. Under Server Timeouts, move the slider to 10 minutes.

19. Click OK.

20. Click Next.

21. The email account has been added, Click Finish.
