About Calling Plans and authorization codes
- The Calling Plan section of the Web Portal allows administrators to manage the criteria defining the calls that users in your group can send or receive.
For example, administrators can prevent a group from making international outgoing calls.
Authorization codes are used to allow users to make outgoing calls that have been deemed restricted for their group. As an administrator, you provide the authorization code to those users with permission to call restricted numbers. To complete the call, the user needs to dial the number and, when prompted, enter the correct authorization code.
If your group is part of an enterprise, the list on the Codes Management page includes all enterprise-level groups created by your Enterprise Administrator. If you choose to modify the settings for an enterprise-level department, your changes apply only to users in the department(s) that exist within your group.
