About Call Pick-up

Call Pick-up allows users to answer a ringing line other than their own.

The feature is broken down into three distinct sections:

Call Pick-up Group
This feature allows you to answer the incoming calls of all colleagues within your designated Call Pick-up group. When hearing a colleague's phone ringing, press *98 on your phone to answer that incoming call. If more than one line in your Call Pick-up group is ringing, the call that has been ringing the longest is answered first.

Directed Call Pick-up without Barge-in
This feature allows you to pick up any incoming calls to your enterprise. To answer a colleague's incoming call from your phone, enter *97 followed by that colleague's phone number and the # key. Please note that this feature does not have its own page within the Bell Total Connect Web Portal.

Directed Call Pick-up with Barge-in
This feature allows you to pick up any incoming call and join any active call within your enterprise. To answer a colleague's incoming call from your phone, enter *33 followed by that colleague's phone number and the # key. To barge in to an active call, enter *33 followed by the colleague's phone number you wish to join. Please note that this feature does not have its own page within the Bell Total Connect Web Portal. However, your administrator is able to determine whether a tone is generated when a user barges in to an active call. By default, the warning tone is activated and every user on the call will be notified that someone has barged in to the call.
