Guide for administrators

The phone-to-phone Polycom Paging feature allows authorized paging users to page each other via a new soft key displayed on their phone. A user can be part of up to 23 paging groups.

Note: Users with Polycom phones can only page other Polycom phone users within the same group.

Administrator actions
An Administrator can create, modify, and delete all paging groups within the company or at a group level. They can also create a paging group at the company level containing users from multiple paging groups. All changes made by administrators will normally activate a device reboot. For some phones, however, the configuration will not take effect until the next day.
