  • 1. Open a web browser.
  • 2. Type 192.168.2.1 in the address bar and then press Enter on your keyboard to access your modem’s settings.
  • 3. Click Wireless.
  • 4. Ensure wireless security is enabled.
  • 5. Click the drop-down menu next to Authentication type.
  • 6. Select the authentication type you require (e.g. WPA2-PSK).
  • 7. If you don’t know which authentication type you require, you can select Use default encryption key printed on the system label.
  • 8. If you prefer using your own key (password), select Set custom encryption key and specify a password.
  • 9. Scroll to and click Save.
